Join us on the Amalfi Coast for a home-style cooking class with Eva. Acres of vineyards, small winding pathways lead you to the prestigious property where contadini food is appreciated. Contadini, literally translating to farmers, brings to mind the plentiful gardens of sun drenched tomatoes, beans, lettuce & herbs, squash, potatoes, root vegetables, mushrooms, along with eggplant and more. Walk along the hilltop vineyard where precious grapes, Aglianico, Falanghina, Tintore and Piedirosso, grow under warm Mediterranean sun. You will learn a bit the process of wine harvesting too. Tie on your apron and join Eva in the kitchen for a hands-on cooking class using everything from the garden and land. Hearty antipasto, pasta and a country style secondo are on the menu. Wines from the property are served along with the foods that were made in the class. Everyone joins together at the long wooden farmer’s table for conversation on the history of the family and property. Lunch and wine included.
