Join our Sicilian family in the kitchen where farm-to-table ingredients are transformed into delicious antipasto, pasta and sauce, main courses and desserts. Join us at the vineyard estate on Mount Etna for an authentic cooking experience. Tie on your apron and get ready to learn Old Word recipes while sipping delicious Mount Etna wine with our Sicilian family.
Learn how to make caponata, a traditional eggplant dish made with chopped onions, bell pepper, celery and tomatoes, olives and capers. You’ll be making flash-fried arancini, stuffed rice balls – a traditional street food. Roll out fresh pasta – maccheroni, busiate, cavatelli and ravioli with pistachio pesto – to name a few. Then, it is on to main courses – Sicilian sausages ragù with wild fennel or polpette di pesce spada al sugo, swordfish stewed in tomato sauce. Fish, meat and vegetarian menu options are available. Sicilian dessert-making is part of the experience with delicious cannoli, iris, cassata and crostata alla ricotta. Following the cooking class everyone enjoys the food that was prepared in the cooking class with Mount Etna wine from the property’s vineyard. Cooking Vacations aprons and recipe book included.

If you have a non-cooker who would like dine, but not cook, please let us know and we will also send you pricing.
