Our team of private Chefs are available for hands-on cooking classes in the privacy of your villa. Whether your family or group is large or small, we will work with you to create the perfect menu.
Imagine learning the traditions of Italian cooking in hands-on cooking classes with a professional Chef in the privacy of your vacation villa in sunny Italy. You will experience the tastes of regional foods, while learning new recipes and technique. Create delicious foods that you will be able to recreate at home, while making memories that will last a lifetime.
From simple rustic or high-end Italian, our team of professional Chefs will create the perfect cooking classes incorporating regional foods with the tastes of the Italian seasons into a menu created especially for you (respecting food allergies, likes and dislikes). Recipes books and chefs aprons are included too.
Our Chefs arrive fully prepared with all the ingredients, kitchen tools and equipment. Lessons are hands-on, so each guest is actively involved in slicing, dicing, mixing and preparing a full-course lunch or dinner with antipasto, fresh pasta or risotto, a main course and dessert, with wine pairing available upon request. Then the best part, eating! Everyone eats the food that were prepared in class following. Special menus are available for children too, including pizza, pasta and ice-cream making; a perfect activity while making delicious foods that kids love.
You will learn how to transform Amalfi lemons into pasta sauces and sweet desserts, Ligurian basil into zesty pesto, Venetian cornmeal into creamy polenta, and Sicilian almonds into biscotti. There are 20 regions in Italy and each one has their style of cooking and specialty recipes too. You will learn and expand your recipe book with interesting menus and food notes too.
Upon request you can also shop with our chef, visit an authentic market place, and learn how to select the freshest seasonal ingredients. You can also add on a Food Lover’s Tour from Sara in Venice, Anna In Bologna, Stephano in Rome, Angela in Amalfi, and Annarita in Capri, – tastings and discussions are included along the way!
