Our Tuscan cooking classes are hands on and held in the villa’s private kitchen and feature traditional recipes from the region. Chef Paolo will lead making Tuscan antipasti, fresh pasta and sauces, main courses and desserts accompanied with Signor Fabrizio’s award-winning wine. Fabrizio’s welcoming personality, along with Chef Paolo’s talented cooking skills, will have you cooking delicious Tuscan fare like a local!!! One Day Cooking Class in Tuscany
Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and pepolino, wild thyme, artichokes and tomatoes stuffed with herbs and cheese, gnocchi with ragù, Chianti Etruscan sauce and beans all’uccelletto, Vin Santo & cantuccini, almond cookies, tiramisù, schiacciata con l’uva, Tuscan cake made with red grapes and rosemary – always paired with Fabrizio’s award-winning wine – are delicious menu samples. Recipes also vary based on the seasons. Cooking classes are hands-on and kept to small groups of two to six guests. The Tuscan kitchen is located in the main villa in what used to be a wine cantina.
You will learn the secrets of making gnocchetti verdi di patate con pomodorino fresco e basilico, green potato gnocchi with fresh tomatoes and basil, filetto d’orato al gratin di patate, fish with potato gratin or sea food risotto. Tuscan meats are prized in this region and Florentine steak and porcino mushrooms are on the menu if you like. semifreddo alle nocciole con cioccolato fondente, ice cream cake with dark chocolate and nuts. Following each cooking class, everyone enjoys the food that was made in the cooking class paired with wine from Fabrizio’s cantina.

Market Tour & One Day Cooking Class in Tuscany
Join Signor Fabrizio for a morning visit to the local farmers’ market. Meet and converse with local producers of vegetables, fruits, fish, game and olive oil and their farm-to-table produce only found in Tuscany. Shop with Fabrizio for ingredients that will be used in cooking class. Discover Tuscan artisan cheese produced by farmers who have been following family recipes for centuries and taste artisan bread made by bakers the Old-World way. Outdoor Italian keep their tradition over the years with fresh produce and ingredients from the sellers local farms – think Tuscan salumi, ham and meats and wine. Following the market tour, everyone returns to the kitchen for the cooking class.
Tie on your aprons for cooking class one making a full course menu. Following the cooking class, everyone enjoys the food that was prepared in the cooking class with wine included.
